TikTok’s Instant Pages Are My New Favourite Thing

Creating a landing page to send TikTok users to is almost too quick and easy with Instant Pages. This has been a godsend, particularly when it’s difficult to get webpages edited or when you simply have a lot of content to share.

What are Instant Pages on TikTok?

Instant Pages on TikTok are mobile-friendly landing pages specifically built to offer advertisers a way to create immersive, interactive experiences without directing users away from TikTok. These pages allow for customisation with rich media like images, videos, and clickable CTA buttons. They are often used for product showcases, form submissions, or detailed content about a service, making it easier for users to explore and take action instantly.

What are the benefits of TikTok Instant Pages?

Lots of templates for Instant Pages

  1. Faster load times: Apparently they load 11 times faster than the average webpage, so users are getting through their content faster! Obviously this speed is crucial in a very fast-paced social media world.

  2. Seamless experience: Instant Pages are built in TikTok, therefore users can interact with the page without leaving the app - this has been proven to work across other social media platforms, and might lead to better conversion rates.

  3. Easy to create: It’s very easy to create smart and interactive branded pages. TikTok offer a large selection of templates to start yourself off with, which are easily editable. Slowly shaking my head at Google’s ugly attempt as responsive display ads.

  4. Cost effective: They don’t require any web development skills, which helps lower the cost and time associated with creating high-performing landing pages. No more waiting around for months for the dev team to make small changes.

How would I use Instant Pages on TikTok?

  • So many ways.

  • Multiple CTAs sending users to different pages on your website makes your content appeal to a broader audience.

  • Telling a story about your brand to boost awareness.

  • You can manually add products (including original price and current price) natively in the content, or in a carousel format. The downside is I don’t think you can use a product feed, so it’s manual.

  • You can add services in the same format as the products, with descriptions of the services in place of prices.

  • Add both images and videos for variety.

  • Add discounts and coupon codes, which makes TikTok users feel more exclusive and will likely improve conversion rate.
